Allow me to open this review with some honesty. I am not generally a fan of real life setting military shooters. The idolizing of soldiers and glorification of war as a simple battle of heroes (American troops) versus villains (Russians, terrorists, etc.) never really sat well with me.
Speedlink have decided to put together a simple package of 99 games from one of the '80s-to-early-'90s era's most prominent gaming systems - the Commodore 64 - along with a USB imitation of the chunky joysticks representative of those good old days. The promotional material for Splinter Cell: Conviction saw pictures of a bedraggled Sam Fisher plastered everywhere just to let us know that things had changed.
