It's every school kids dream to one day be an astronaut, jetting into the far reaches of the solar system to explore new worlds and potentially meet new species. We'll have engineers, doctors, nurses, teachers, mothers, fathers, grandparents and children living millions of light years from Earth in their own, new world. Sounds pretty awesome doesn't it? Well, not if you're Isaac Clarke and certainly not if you're on-board the Sprawl; a giant colony built on one of Saturn's 3 moons...

Rearmed 2 see's everyone's favourite 2.5D protagonist Nathan Spencer return to once again save the world from tyranny and destruction. This time standing in his way is the evil General Sabio who, despite not matching up to the Nazi dictatorship of the original Bionic Commando on the evil scale, is a pretty nasty guy who threatens to launch a missile strike on all things pure and good. Anyone who has played the game before will know what to expect and Rearmed 2 follows the same formula as its successors where we navigate our way through treacherous levels and wipe out legions of enemies using the trusty bionic arm whenever needed.

Last year we took a look at the very first audio product from long time memory manufacturer, Corsair. We were impressed to cut a long story short; it was a great headset. In fact, it was one of the best through our doors, and for a seriously competitive price.

Hands up if you like Oblivion: Elder Scrolls? If so, then Two Worlds II is going to certainly tickle your gaming taste buds. The game plays in a very similar manner, with wide open interactive worlds and addictive gameplay. Compared to the first, it is a huge improvement, but we aren’t sure if that is such a difficult task.

Over the holidays I've been testing the Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle, a little device that gives us the ability to record our gaming footage in HD and it has given us the ability to implement our own in-game footage and screenshots. But this isn't something we'll get into today - Keep an eye out for a standalone review in the coming weeks!

On Wednesday, January 26th, Sony and Zipper Interactive invited the OCModShop crew to their offices in Redmond, Washington to take a look at the new SOCOM 4 and let us ask questions. Not only did we get a full tour of the game, but they had a lobby all decked out with multiple stations for us to play the single and multiplayer campaigns. They even showed off some of the new technology features, particularly 3d television support and Playstation Move support and a new gun peripheral.

For the last few weeks I have been locked away in my room, playing the new DC Universe Online MMO. Being a self professed World Of Warcraft addict, I normally expect other MMO’s to pale in comparison, but I have found this title to become massively addictive, especially for such an early stage of development.

With LittleBigPlanet, Media Molecule showed the power of the PlayStation 3 console. For years Sony had told us that the PS3 system is incredibly powerful and will offer unique experiences, but it was not until LittleBigPlanet was shown that people saw something rather unique only available on the system. However, it was not without its problems. Many people did not like the floaty platforming plus the tools really only allowed platform style games and sequences to be made. Media Molecule went back to the drawing board and came up with LittleBigPlanet 2; a game that not only continues the style of the first game well, but adds so many options and tools that it is potentially the first truly 'must try' game of 2011.

I was a huge fan of the first Dead Space game, the eerie atmosphere and horror style shocks had me jumping at every corner. I also felt a certain kinship with retired engineer Isaac Clarke, he wasn’t a gun totting steroid injected one man army – more a guy in the wrong place at the wrong time.
