Capcom are back, not with a sequel but a low cost stand-alone expansion of the Dead Rising 2 universe and in it the original character from Dead Rising, Frank West returns. Down on his luck and desperate to turn things round we find ourselves trapped in a zombie infested city with 74 hours until rescue, a crime to solve and that's before we even consider our need for antidote against our own infection...

At Benchmark reviews, we thought it might be interesting to offer a light hearted article on the new PC version FPS/RPG hybrid game RAGE, from id software, the creators of DOOM. I've played a lot of PC games since I started using computers. I'm not saying I'm a "gamer," because I'm not. But, I have a good feel for how games have matured since DOOM, which was my first PC game. I've been luke warm with the entire genre of FPSs, MMOGs, and RTSs for a long time, with few exceptions. RAGE is one of those exceptions. Aside from video driver troubles early on, RAGE has a lot to offer and seems like a game inside of a game, inside of a game. This isn't a review, but more of a personal musing on the game itself. So, take off your armor and come on in for some fun...

If there is any game bigger than Call of Duty from the past five or so years, we'd like to see it. There is no doubt that Call of Duty, and especially the Modern Warfare series has had a significant impact on the gaming industry and developers have been trying to crack what made Call of Duty such a success for Infinity Ward. But the development of Modern Warfare 3 had its issues.

It's easy to compare Q.U.B.E. to Portal at a quick glance, but in reality it's a much different game. The main focus is on puzzle-solving, but the puzzles here are solved by manipulating blocks in order to achieve some objective to open the door at the end. And in terms of sheer difficulty, Q.U.B.E. takes the cake.

As well as supporting consoles to the death EA are also often in at the launch of new models and the PS Vita is no different with the latest incarnation of FIFA Football chosen as a launch day title. We last saw a FIFA title with the 2012 release on PS3 and found it to be one of the best versions yet so it will be interesting to see how much of that game makes it to the Vita and how the touch controls might change the gameplay.

10 years on from the release of the original Jak and Daxter for PlayStation 2 we have a re-release of that classic along with Jak 2 and Jak 3, all packaged in a nice single disc package. Like the original Prototype 2 is a sandbox based game meaning we are essentially free to roam about the game world, picking up side missions as we go or progressing the main story. This isn't any normal sandbox game though because our enhanced main character, who finds himself in a quarantined New York, has the ability to run faster, leap higher and even climb walls or glide if we wish. This opens up every area of the city to us for exploration and gameplay and the fact that most of the environment features destructive objects is an added bonus.
