2010 has been a fantastic year for gaming, that is undeniable. From reading the first part of our year in review it's clear for all to see that 2010 has brought us some of the best games ever released, on all platforms. Not every game released has gone on to become an instant success though and this year has thrown up a number of titles which underachieved rather drastically. Yep, there have been some absolute shockers over the past 12 months, even games which had all the ingredients to be brilliant failed to deliver the goods.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 – Vietnam has already been a focal point for criticism thanks to the hefty £10 asking price in the UK. When Activision charged the same (1200 Microsoft points) for Modern Warfare 2 map packs the gaming public were in an uproar. Thankfully, after a week of playtesting I can happily report that Vietnam is offering a lot for the multiplayer addict.

My first review for KitGuru is for a strategy game that many hardcore gamers will never admit to playing. Bejeweled has been one of the crowning achievements for PopCap games, selling millions of copies and addicting people of all ages to their console or handheld device.

I can't help it, there are just some things I can't get enough of. One of those things is Angry Birds! If you are an Android, iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch user and you have the Angry Birds application installed, and you are wondering how to get all the golden eggs... Look no further. I, for one, cannot consider something completed until I have all the secrets revealed. In the previous article (Angry Birds Golden Egg Walkthrough) we covered eggs 1-15... and so here are 16 and 17!

Dead Rising is a funny series. First released exclusively on the Xbox 360, many gamers and possibly even Capcom were unaware as to how successful the series would be. Last year Capcom released Case Zero for Xbox Live Arcade. This served as an introduction to the Dead Rising 2 universe and for five bucks gave you a few hours of good gaming. After the success of Dead Rising 2, Capcom announced they wanted to bring Frank West, the original protagonist, back, and so Case West was born; a game where the storylines of DR1 and DR2 meet. Again, it's on Xbox Live Arcade, but this time for ten bucks. We have mixed feelings about whether the extra five bucks is worth it or not.

La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la, Elmo’s World! Yep it’s Elmo for review today or his latest game for the Wii called Elmo’s A-to-Zoo Adventure. This is obviously a young children’s game so I enlisted the help of my 5yr old son Vincent to play it for me and tell me how he likes it. I observed him playing of course to see how he handled it. So if you’re got kids you might want to check this review out, my son likes it quite a bit and I think most any other young child will as well.

I was a huge fan of the first Dead Space game, the eerie atmosphere and horror style shocks had me jumping at every corner. I also felt a certain kinship with retired engineer Isaac Clarke, he wasn’t a gun totting steroid injected one man army – more a guy in the wrong place at the wrong time.

With LittleBigPlanet, Media Molecule showed the power of the PlayStation 3 console. For years Sony had told us that the PS3 system is incredibly powerful and will offer unique experiences, but it was not until LittleBigPlanet was shown that people saw something rather unique only available on the system. However, it was not without its problems. Many people did not like the floaty platforming plus the tools really only allowed platform style games and sequences to be made. Media Molecule went back to the drawing board and came up with LittleBigPlanet 2; a game that not only continues the style of the first game well, but adds so many options and tools that it is potentially the first truly 'must try' game of 2011.

For the last few weeks I have been locked away in my room, playing the new DC Universe Online MMO. Being a self professed World Of Warcraft addict, I normally expect other MMO’s to pale in comparison, but I have found this title to become massively addictive, especially for such an early stage of development.
