Dead or Alive 5 sees Team Ninja unleash their porcelain doll characters with sentient flans strapped to their chests, back to the fighting arena. I’ve only really had two run-ins with the Dead or Alive franchise before now. The first being Dead or Alive 2 Hardcore and the second being a relatively brief session of watching a friend try out Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. The latter of which must have been a misnomer because I viewed very little actual volleyball taking place.

Dead Rising is a funny series. First released exclusively on the Xbox 360, many gamers and possibly even Capcom were unaware as to how successful the series would be. Last year Capcom released Case Zero for Xbox Live Arcade. This served as an introduction to the Dead Rising 2 universe and for five bucks gave you a few hours of good gaming. After the success of Dead Rising 2, Capcom announced they wanted to bring Frank West, the original protagonist, back, and so Case West was born; a game where the storylines of DR1 and DR2 meet. Again, it's on Xbox Live Arcade, but this time for ten bucks. We have mixed feelings about whether the extra five bucks is worth it or not.

Capcom are back, not with a sequel but a low cost stand-alone expansion of the Dead Rising 2 universe and in it the original character from Dead Rising, Frank West returns. Down on his luck and desperate to turn things round we find ourselves trapped in a zombie infested city with 74 hours until rescue, a crime to solve and that's before we even consider our need for antidote against our own infection...

I was a huge fan of the first Dead Space game, the eerie atmosphere and horror style shocks had me jumping at every corner. I also felt a certain kinship with retired engineer Isaac Clarke, he wasn’t a gun totting steroid injected one man army – more a guy in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It's every school kids dream to one day be an astronaut, jetting into the far reaches of the solar system to explore new worlds and potentially meet new species. We'll have engineers, doctors, nurses, teachers, mothers, fathers, grandparents and children living millions of light years from Earth in their own, new world. Sounds pretty awesome doesn't it? Well, not if you're Isaac Clarke and certainly not if you're on-board the Sprawl; a giant colony built on one of Saturn's 3 moons...

Last year we took a look at the very first audio product from long time memory manufacturer, Corsair. We were impressed to cut a long story short; it was a great headset. In fact, it was one of the best through our doors, and for a seriously competitive price.

The whole game centers on Randall Wayne, one of few survivors of a virus that reanimates the dead. The story is set in Seattle in the summer of 1986.

Death To Spies: Moment of Truth has recently appeared on Valve’s Steam platform and it is the sequel to 2007’s Death To Spies. It is a game which may be overlooked and that would be a shame because it combines challenging stealth gameplay with a super smooth and very effective engine.

If you combine The Fast and the Furious with Unreal Tournament then you end up with the game we have on review today - Death Track Resurrection. A weird hybrid of a combat/racing game that is actually based on a 1989 Activision game called Deathtrack. Russian developer, Sky Fallen handle the coding but unfortunately there are more than a few issues.
