Shellshock 2: Blood Trails is a game from developer Rebellion who were responsible for Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron and The Simpsons Game. The title up for review today was produced on a limited budget and we will find out today if it shows.
Futuremark Games Studio will later today release their first ever PC game called Shattered Horizon. Shattered Horizon is a multiplayer first-person shooter that immerses you in the cold reality of zero-gravity combat in near-Earth space. The game uses FutureMark's very own DirectX 10 graphics engine with NVIDIA PhysX technology for a more realistic look and feel.
The premise behind the game is that it’s set 40 years into the future and we’re mining the moon, but due to a catastrophic mining accident the moon essentially blows up leaving fragments everywhere. You get to wear a space suit and let the bullets fly while fighting in one of four areas. One of the unique things about this game is that it’s even, in that everyone has the exact same weapons and equipment, so only the most cunning and skilled will survive the confrontations. La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la, Elmo’s World! Yep it’s Elmo for review today or his latest game for the Wii called Elmo’s A-to-Zoo Adventure. This is obviously a young children’s game so I enlisted the help of my 5yr old son Vincent to play it for me and tell me how he likes it. I observed him playing of course to see how he handled it. So if you’re got kids you might want to check this review out, my son likes it quite a bit and I think most any other young child will as well.

This game was so much fun that it was really hard to put it down, even when you beat it, several times. Croteam have recently released the ‘HD’ version of the game using the updated Serious 3 engine but is it really worth revisiting?
