Today saw the release of one of the most anticipated titles this decade. Unless you've been under a rock for a very long time you would have seen our GamingHeaven coverage on StarCraft II over the last few months, well here we are with what is likely our final piece of coverage before the fabled review is published very soon!
This week Blizzard released their much awaited sequel to StarCraft II. The Heart Of The Swarm puts the player in control of the Zerg horde as Sarah Kerrigan takes the forces on a rampage across space and time. Her love for Jim Raynor sets the tone for this game, which I am happy to say is bloody marvelous.

StarCraft was not only an amazing seller for Blizzard but it is still played in certain parts of the world and has turned into what you could safely classify as a “timeless strategy game”. There is still no confirmed release date for Starcraft 2: Wings Of Liberty on the PC but we did manage to get some hands on time at the show floor of G-Star 2009, a gaming convention at BEXCO in Busan, South Korea.
Im Battle.net-Forum zu StarCraft 2 steht es unter Known Issues und wurde scheinbar aus der Beta mitgenommen. Ein Problem, durch das es dazu kommen soll, dass Grafikkarten überhitzen, wenn auf dem Bildschirm nichts los ist. Die Grafikkarte würde also durch Unterforderung überhitzen, sehr ungewöhnlich.
Wir haben das Problem untersucht und konnten auch Hitzeprobleme feststellen - allerdings in gegenteiligen Szenarios!
Star Wars: The Old Republic, or SWTOR, is probably one of the most anticipated game releases of 2011 and certainly the most anticipated massively multiplayer online role playing game release in some years. First announced at the end of 2008, SWTOR has been developed by BioWare and of course is based in the Star Wars universe.
