Batman is one of the world’s most popular ‘superheroes’ and Arkham Asylum from developer Rocksteady Studios has been getting a lot of hype both from the public and the press. Thankfully we are happy to say that they have met my expectations which has both surprised and pleased me!

So I like Batman, he’s cool and all, and I played the Demo on Xbox so I figured I’d grab the game as well, so I decided instead to grab the Collector’s Edition because it looked rather interesting and I thought it might be worth it. It cost me $107 with tax, normally an Xbox360 game new costs $60, I paid about $40 extra for the special stuff… was it worth it? Nope… Avoid it at all costs please, the game is kind of worth the regular cost, but I wouldn’t advise getting the Collector’s Edition.

Ein filmartiges Spielerlebnis in einer großen, frei erforschbaren Welt und eine umfangreiche, tiefgehende Handlung, die durch zahlreiche Nebenmissionen und Extra-Aufgaben ergänzt wird, lassen Hoffnung aufkommen, dass ein Hit auf uns wartet.

It seems quite often that the core element of gameplay is overlooked and today we are looking at a title from developer Frozenbyte which is a modern take on the classic 2D action adventure genre.

I'm having a hard time trying to find something original in Section 8. And it matters not. Even the engine is used - it's based on the multi-platform Unreal Engine 3, which irritates me since I can't get anti-aliasing to work; but fine, it doesn't seem to disrupt my ability to womp the shite out of 16 of my temporary nemeses, bot or human, and try as I might, I can't stay away from this title for very long. Noch immer dreht sich alles um Barkeeper „Des mond Miles“, der im sogenannten Animus die Erinnerungen seiner Vorfahren nacherlebt. Wer den Vorgänger nicht kennt, soll der Geschichte dennoch Folge leisten können das verspricht Entwickler Ubisoft zumindest.
TimeGate Studios are a developer well known for their release of the Kohan real time strategy series which was a favourite with the gaming community a few years ago. They tried to push the boundaries of the genre and for the most part it worked well. They were also responsible for the F.E.A.R. Expansions - Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate. Today we review their latest game, a multiplayer focused shooter.
