If you've been a fan of OCModShop (or any tech site for that matter), then you've no doubt heard of Everest. Everest is one of the premiere benchmarking suites that hardware enthusiasts use to test their motherboards, video cards, memory, and just about everything related to computers.
Every person has different tastes when it comes to their installation of Windows. Through the years that have been many things that I do right off the bat when getting my install "just right". In the XP days, the first thing I would do was to stretch the taskbar, enable Quick Launch, add an address bar, unlock it, then move those around a bit. If my taskbar wasn't set up this way, I HATED IT... in fact, I would move other people's around when I worked on their computers! Windows 7 is no different for me, however, the list isn't as exhaustive yet. We covered Part 1 earlier and this is part 2 of a multipart series.
There are a lot of plugins running around that will let you embed videos and media into a post easily. The funny part about this is that WordPress has had the functionality to handle this all by itself since version 2.9. The functionality is powered by oEmbed and getting started is easy as pie.

AMD talked a bit about benefits for 'Bulldozer' when paired with Microsoft's upcoming Windows 8 operating system. At the moment there is a Windows 8 Developer Preview available from Microsoft Dev Center. In this short article PCSTATS will test this claim by comparing identical computer systems running an AMD FX-8150 'Bulldozer' processor, under both operating systems. PCSTATS decided to compare the AMD FX-8150 processor against itself in Windows 8 and Windows environments and see what kind of performance gains AMD was talking about.

3DMark has always been a great tool for testing high-end graphics cards, but it has even more to offer now. For the first time 3DMark is not a Windows-only benchmark any longer. Now it's possible to also test Windows RT, Apple iOS and Google Android devices, which makes 3DMark the first true cross-platform tool for measuring and comparing 3D performance.
