In August, KitGuru reviewed the Dell Streak and we thought it was one of the most exciting phones on the market. It was a dream combination of an iPad and a smartphone. The only downside was the early state of the Android operating system which meant it didn’t quite walk away with our top award. Dell informed me a few weeks ago that the new Android Froyo 2.2 OS was now available and that they wanted KitGuru to follow up on the previous review by taking another look at the device.
MSI have a wide range of laptops for the enthusiast user and today we are looking at the rather sexy multimedia based CX623, complete with Core i5 460m, LED screen and nVidia 310M.
KitGuru has looked at a number of impressive gaming laptops over the past few months including the bespoke Cryo Mercia. Like Cryo, Kobalt Computers is a relatively small operation who cater for the enthusiast end of the market. Their laptop range starts at £859 inc. VAT with the budget friendly GS510 however many of their laptops cost well over £1000 inc. VAT.
What we have here is an 11.6" notebook that measures in at 11.4" x 8.7" x 1.1" and weighs 3.8 pounds. It's a little heftier than you'd expect in an 11.6" device, but that's due in part to the fact that this is no ordinary notebook; it's a convertible. The hinge and touch screen adds a bit of beef to this notebook turned tablet; it would have been nice if they had made it a little thinner to compensate.

Rein äußerlich hat sich nur sehr wenig getan - ein Anschluss kam hinzu bzw. dessen Beschriftung wurde geändert. Am wichtigsten dürfte der Wechsel auf die neuen Intel Prozessoren "Sandy Bridge" sein.
Mit dem E7-00 hat Nokia vor einiger Zeit einen Nachfolger für die fast schon legendäre Communicator-Reihe vorgestellt, der mit AMOLED-Display und Alu-Kleid Käufer finden soll. Ob aber Business-Features, eine QWERTZ-Tastatur und Symbian3 ausreichen, um gegen die immer stärker werdende Konkurrenz auch in diesem Segment zu punkten, soll dieser Test zeigen.

Not even imaginable that you would have to buy one just to study at school. Things have changed, in fact they have changed a lot. Partly due to the extreme growth of the world wide web, fast internet and wireless access, gaming,... School Books and towers of papers are a thing that soon will be part of a museum. Most school courses at highschool are downloadable in Acrobat or alike formats via their intranet. Ofcourse to have access some schools advise you or even oblige you to buy a laptop. Some of them suggested laptops cost heaps of money, even though some are quite good deals for the specifications. Main point is, most are overspecced or priced accordingly. This is where MSI want's to target the CX640 laptop at. Being affordable, thus no longer for the parents required to sell vital organs, yet still offer some nice specifications without too much bling bling. Let's see what MSI has got to offer to the youngsters or elderly that want a laptop, to be used used for school purposes or just plain basic laptop usage.
