Today for review I have the Idolian Mini Studio which is an 8” Android tablet which runs Android 4.1 or Jelly Bean. The tablet is small and very lightweight, it’s only 4mm thick and it weighs in at 420 grams. Idolian actually touts the Mini Studio as being a competitor for the iPad Mini and it has my vote, but I like Android and I’ve never really cared for Apple products. The Mini Studio comes with front and rear cameras, it has 16gb of storage built-in and you can expand it with a microSD card if that’s not enough. The tablet has wi-fi, Bluetooth and an HDMI output and it’s power by a dual CPU that runs at 1.6Ghz and there’s 1gb of DDR3 ram. In my time with it I’ve come find out it’s powerful little tablet that can handle pretty much anything I’ve thrown at it including 1080p videos that play flawlessly. The battery life is excellent, with just slight use like checking email and getting app updates I got over two and half days on a single charge. So read on to learn more about a great little choice for an Android tablet…

With the XE500T1C you don’t need to have a laptop for your desk and a tablet for on the go. The XE500T1C is a tablet with a nice big 11.6” HD LED display for on the go, and when you need to get some serious work done at the comfort of a desk then you can dock it into a comfortable (and locking) keyboard and trackpad dock. Ready to travel? The dock locks safely onto the tablet and can be collapsed just like a laptop!

The fine folks at Cyberpower PC have sent us over one of their latest creations, and truth be told, I'm looking forward to this one! What we have today is the Cyberpower Fangbook X7-200 gaming notebook. The entire Fangbook series features a massive 17.3" screen (1920x1080 HD LED-Backlit), Intel Core i7-3630QM quad-core processors (to start), and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX and GTX 680M graphics. To say that these things are beasts doesn't do them justice. The Fangbook has the different versions to it, each with slightly different specifications and price points. The Fangbook X7-200 that we have in our hands today starts out at $1549...

The Dell Latitude E6430s and 6430u are great examples of the evolution of laptops. The E6430s is the classic notebook that we've seen for a long time, with docking port, standard DVD burner and a 2.5-inch hard disk. The 6430u is a more current design. Sleek, no DVD burner, and no room for a 2.5-inch hard disk and instead an mSATA SSD. That also makes it a fast machine.

The Lenovo ThinkPad W530 is a professional business notebook for demanding applications such as graphic or video design and other professional software. The Dell XPS 10 is a successful combination of laptop and tablet. If you're considering the XPS 10, we would recommend getting it with the keyboard dock as it's definitely worth it. It turns it into a true mini-laptop with touchscreen with outstanding battery life and very decent performance from the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4.
