It seems a time ago now when we took our first look at a set of earphones from Arctic Sound. And back then we were very pleased with them and also with the second set they sent out that was finished in wood, which we thought to be a nice touch.
Peripherals
Arctic are well known for producing a large range of cooling products which includes both CPU and GPU coolers. But more recently they have been aggressively diversifying their product range to encompass far more of the PC market.
Peripherals
Bluetooth is really starting to see resurgence now thanks in no small part to support from heavy hitters like Apple and Creative Labs with their latest products. But there also needs to be (and is) a good amount of third party support from companies like Arctic Sound to make this comeback totally successful.
Peripherals
Today we are going to look at one of Arctic’s other gaming headsets, the P321, which is not quite as feature-filled as the P531 which we reviewed last week. So it carries a lower price tag which makes it more available to more budget-restricted users. We look forward to seeing how they compare with their bigger brother in our tests.
Peripherals
I am once again impressed by a headset from Arctic Cooling, a company most primarily associate with cooling products. Like the P531 I reviewed earlier the P321 delivers a lot of bang for your buck. The P321 is an exceptional value with USB connectivity, retractable mic and lightweight construction all packaged for a low price. The in line control module is one of the better designed, conforming to your hand with every button in easy reach of your thumb.
Peripherals
The P321`s are another USB powered headset from Arctic Cooling's Arctic Sound division. This time, however, they are of the stereo variety and as such are intended for music listening. Since this headset does not interface in the traditional sense with a sound card, it relies on a built-in sound processor much like the one found in its more advanced next of kin; the P531 (review coming soon). Company boffins also claim the use of some high fidelity drivers along with a design that aids in blocking out outside noise.
Peripherals
Arctic Cooling may not have a well known name in PC audio, but with the Arctic Sound P531 5.1 gaming headset they have a pretty good first salvo into the market. The P531′s offer great sound in movies, music and games offering a solid all around headset.
Peripherals
KitGurus across the globe will be familiar with Arctic Cooling, a company renowned for producing some of the best cooling accessories on the market. Earlier this year, they rebranded themselves to ‘Arctic’ to reflect their growing range of non-cooling products.

Love them or hate them, headphones / earphones are generally needed at some point. Depending on your living arrangements, it is quite possible you wear them a lot. If I am not gaming, I let the sound pass through my normal system. However, once I start gaming I throw on my old earphones so I don't disturb others around me. My gaming earphones have always been my old cheap Logitechs that pass over the ears and have a microphone. I have a separate set that I use for travel and music, which are the Bose QC2’s. Arctic Cooling sent over their premium gaming headset for evaluation, the Arctic Sound P531. This headset is USB driven, has 5.1 channel surround and a sub-woofer built in.
