The cooler makers try their hand on the audio market with an earphone (with integrated microphone) for the iPhone, smartphones and PCs. Let's see how they fared.
Peripherals
Today HardwareHeaven are going to look at two pairs of earphones from Arctic Cooling's latest range; the Arctic Sound E361-WM and E352. They are both of the noise-isolating earbud variety and offer slightly different approaches in terms of features and specifications.
Peripherals
It sure would be nice to not listening to music with headphones in a hotel room or through the tinny laptop speakers. Arctic Cooling has a solution to the tinny sound present in many thin portable speakers. The Arctic Sound S111 may not win any awards for the size, but the sound quality is certainly superior.
Peripherals
The sound quality from games using the Arctic Cooling Arctic Sound P531 USB headset was an improvement over the stereo headsets I was using before. The bass was more pronounced, but didn't rise to the level one would expect from traditional 5.1 speakers. Also, there were sounds from all around, but I was unable to tell where they were coming from other than left or right.
Peripherals
The Arctic Sound P531 is a 5.1 USB headset from Artic Cooling, very helpful in games which require 3D sound positioning, but also movies or sound files that have multi-channel sound content, and produces a very nice bass. The casing is built mostly from plastic, but does not give us a cheap feel and thanks to that it is very light. The software can even transform the stereo sound which we listen to the most into 5.1 so we can use the surround feature everywhere.
Peripherals
These days, full-sized headphones are a novelty. They have become impractical for most music lovers with an on-the-go lifestyle, leading to a rise in the popularity of smaller designs. Today, ASE Labs looks at the Arctic Sound E361-BM, one of Arctic Cooling's entries in the crowded sea of earbud models.
Peripherals
With a name like Arctic Cooling you would probably suspect, and rightly so, this was a company that specialized in high performance cooling hardware for computers. But you may be surprised to learn that Arctic Cooling has recently released several new products that have no ties to cooling at all, such as a line of audio gear. It's one of these that we'll be taking a look at for review today, the Arctic Sound E352 earphones.
Peripherals
The Arctic Cooling Arctic M571 gaming mouse is a great entry level mouse for gamers. With the ability to set your preferred weight and with a conveniently located rapid fire button, gamers and enthusiasts will not be disappointed. The distinct curve and shape of the mouse's body should also keep your hand comfortable after hours of game play.
Peripherals
The Arctic Cooling Arctic M551 gaming mouse glided over my desk like it was on ice, and I really enjoyed the feeling and shape of the mouse as it fit in my hand. The buttons were all very easily accessible, and at no time did I feel like they were out of place. After I played with the DPI settings and got used to how fast and accurate it made the pointer, I really enjoyed using it.
Peripherals
Today we are going to take a brief look at one of of Arctic’s products that falls under their ‘Power’ range. The Arctic Charging Station is designed for users who want to charge a number of mobile devices from a single power point. It features four USB charging ports which lets you charge up to four devices simultaneously.
