Where i come from we have a saying and it goes like this "Everyone simply can't excel at everything". Well i have believed that saying my entire life since brands that excel at the manufacture of storage media obviously can't really turn to other areas like graphics cards or LCD screens. One of the things however we all love about the electronics industry is that this saying doesn't always apply and we've seen that happen quite a few times with companies like for example Corsair which jumped from the manufacture of storage media like USB Flash Drives and SSDs to the manufacture of CPU Coolers, PC Cases and Gaming Peripherals (OCZ did something similar just the other way around). Well it seems that the time has finally come for Kingston to jump onto a whole new playfield by introducing headsets aimed at gamers like the HyperX CLOUD Pro Gaming Headset which we have here with us today.

Cherry MX is no longer the only recognized manufacturer of mechanical switches in the market (although certainly the most popular) and although some people feel that others can't reach the same level of quality due to lack of experience/expertise i believe that manufacturing a good mechanical switch is not nuclear science and the fact that even gaming peripheral manufacturers like Razer have decided to do so on their own is proof enough. That being said there's a good amount of research that needs to go into the design and manufacture of a mechanical switch but since Cherry MX is the standard currently others need only to "clone" their solutions. Roughly a month ago we had our first encounter with the brand new Kailh Brown mechanical switches which are basically clones of the very well-known Cherry MX Browns and the results were very good. Well to have a better opinion for Kailh mechanical switches today we decided to take a look at the Poseidon Z mechanical gaming keyboard featuring their Blue ones.

Today I am very happy to bring you a review of a product from Gamdias, I’m most excited about the fact that this is the first Gamdias product I’ve had the pleasure of working with, so I’ve been eager to see what this newcomer is capable of doing. Having only been founded in 2012, the company has a lot to prove and given that they’re targeting the highly competitive PC gaming market with premium grade and generally higher value products, they’ve got some fierce competition from the likes of Razer, Steelseries, Roccat, TteSports and many more.

Testing wireless portable speakers while I’m away on business or during one of my very short yearly vacations is something i really do enjoy doing but although I’ve tested plenty such devices in the past I’ve always felt that there's no way I’ve seen it all in terms of features and performance. Sure numerous models have passed through here ranging from very compact ones that can fit in the palm of your hand and up to very large ones which i wouldn't quite call "portable" but all of them had one thing in common, target audience. For good or bad every single one of those speakers was aimed at regular consumers who just want to listen to their favorite tunes and although i also belong in that category there are people who don't and would like something more from a portable speaker. IK Multimedia caters to professional musicians around the world and their latest iLoud Studio-Quality Portable Speaker might just be exactly what some of them have been looking for.

Tt eSPORTS are a powerful force in the gaming market these days, they’ve got a wide range of gaming peripherals that have won countless awards for them around the world, and a fair few of them came from us here at eTeknix. Their gaming keyboards and mice are some of the best in the business, and in recent years they’ve also been creating so absolutely stunning gaming headsets too. So when I heard that they had a new Tt eSPORTS gaming headset to review, I was very happy indeed and the Sybaris certainly sounds like a headset worthy of excitement. Not only does it operate on your desktop via a wired connection, but you can also pair it via NFC / Bluetooth to your mobile device, perfect for when you need to get up from your desk and actually venture out into the server known as “outside”.

Thermaltake’s long running Tt eSPORTS keyboards have been characteristically flashy, aggressive, and occasionally silly such as the older Challenger keyboards which had fans for blowing air over the keys and keeping a gamer’s hands dry. What we have here in this review stands away from those principles. The Poseidon keyboards go for a much more minimalist looking design while leaving individually backlit keys and mechanical switches as showcase features. The Poseidon Z Illuminated is the Kailh mechanical switch update to the original Poseidon Illuminated which used Cherry MX mechanical switches. Read on to see how the Poseidon Z performs.

Bluetooth wireless speakers have becoming extremely popular over the past couple of years. They can be used with multiple devices and are powerful enough to provide music for an entire room. They are also small enough that you can easily throw them in your backpack or laptop bag. LUXA2 has a new Bluetooth speaker in their GroovyW, but it is not your ordinary Bluetooth speaker. It comes with a removable wireless / wired charging station giving you 4000mAh of extra power for your portable device. The GroovyW also supports NFC for pairing, has touch panel controls, a microphone to take calls and comes with a companion App for both iOS and Android.

Tt eSPORTS started as a sub brand of Thermaltake back in 2010, 4 years on they’ve become one of the major players in eSports and gaming peripherals, sponsoring many high class teams and providing peripherals and gaming gear to target the hardcore gaming enthusiasts. Today we look at the Verto, a stereo headset with strong styling and premium comfort.

For years now Cooler Master has brought to the masses affordable and clean minimalist looking mechanical keyboards in the form of the QuickFire lineup. While the aesthetic stands in contrast to the rugged looks and military themes of their other signature products, the attention to quality Cooler Master has become so trusted upon is still there. The original tenkeyless Quick Fire Rapid was popular due to its value, space saving functionality, and solid construction, but backlights were on the list as the most requested feature. Earlier this year, the Rapid-i with Cherry MX Brown switches with individually backlit white LEDs was released and now a new Cherry MX Blue switch model has been introduced which we are reviewing.
