One of the first mechanical gaming keyboards I was actually able to try was the MEKA mechanical keyboard from Tt eSPORTS. While my time with the keyboard was a bit limited I was still very impressed as the comfort and responsiveness of the keys. The Meka Mechanical keyboard features cherry black mechanical key switches, up to a 1000Hz polling rate, 2 USB ports and much more. S’il y a bien un domaine où il y a de la recherche, de l’évolution et de la nouveauté, c’est bien dans celui des souris. D’une certaine manière, c’est compréhensible, le gamer est exigent, il veut ce qui est au top. De fait, de nouveaux acteurs pénètrent le marché régulièrement, en fonction des modes, des tendances. EpicGear en fait partie, illustre inconnu sur l’Hexagone, voilà que cet acteur nous a envoyé sa Meduza, accompagnée de son tapis. D’un côté, l’optique revient en force, avec ses qualités et ses défauts, de l’autre, les « novateurs » et la course aux DPI représentés par le laser. Il faut choisir son camp ou presque… sauf qu’EpicGear a fait un choix pour le moins étonnant. En effet, leur Méduza a les deux capteurs tout simplement, un optique et un laser. Et le plus fort, enfin c’est ce que nous verrons, c’est qu’ils peuvent fonctionner de façon combinée. L’idée est d’associer les deux pour leurs avantages mutuels…pas pour leurs défauts ?? C’est ce que nous allons voir de suite.
Roccat est un constructeur relativement prolifique. De plus, il tente d’apporter nombre de solutions aux gamers que nous sommes. La moindre de ses nouveautés est, en général, franchement attendue. C’est aussi une marque qui communique bien à leurs propos. Présente sur le terrain, elle peut se targuer d’une belle expérience de lanneur, ce qui n'est pas le cas de tout le monde. Aujourd’hui, nous allons vous parler d’un couple qui risque fort d’en attirer plus d’un. Il s’agit de la souris Kova[+] et de son compagnon le tapis Alumic. La première est une Kova dotée des derniers raffinements Roccat, le deuxième un tapis qui promet beaucoup, tant en solidité qu’en utilisation.
I’ve got something different for review today, but it’s from a company that you’ve most likely heard of, V-Moda. The product is ear plugs, yes actual ear plugs like those you use to protect your ears from loud noises. They are called Faders and I have to say they work very well. I have many pairs of ear plugs floating around as I do a lot of work on my home, using a circular saw or other tools that make loud noises require the use of ear plugs or you’ll end up with your ears ringing. Ringing in the ears is not a good thing as I’m sure you know, the same thing can happen at a concert as well with the loud music. These ear plugs from V-Moda are the nicest set I’ve ever owned and I know they work as I had the chance to put them to use over the weekend.

We used our Denon AVR receiver, Apple iPhone, Blackberry Bold, Cowon A2, and Dell Precision laptop computer as our test devices to drive the headset. We found that the new design on the V-Moda Vibe II headset had very slight improvements over the original Vibe and Vibe Duo. Bass response seemed to have improved over earlier versions producing really chest-thumping lows without distortion. Our reference test track was Hans Zimmer’s “The Kraken” from the Pirates of the Caribbean Soundtrack. Even at very high sound levels, the Vibe II headphones didn’t seem to waver and stood up to Zimmer’s low-frequency onslaught better than our beloved original Vibe headphones...
