As you are probably aware there are many companies that produce mice. There is a company however that specialises in coolers and chassis. This is of course CoolerMaster. However over the last year they have been developing their range and extending into the peripherals for computers market of which includes mice. We have their latest mouse; the Cooler Master Storm Spawn to review. This is only their third mouse so it will be interesting to see if they have cracked this very competitive market.

Although the computer mouse has become more accurate over the years, there has been little change in the style of this common computer component since Douglas Engelbart invented it in 1963. Now, however, Microsoft has released a mouse that is really different. It has an entirely new look with a refined, modern style. We took a look see if this little device had as much substance as style.

After our review of the GS1000i headphones we were inundated with emails, asking if we could review Grado’s most expensive headphones, the elusive ‘Professional Series 1000′ (PS1000). With a staggering retail price around £1,700 these are a serious purchase, for a very serious music lover.

Overall I'd have to say the Logisys MS6801 was more comfortable to use than many other mini mice I have used... and perhaps it is better than some full sized mice that I have used that were just too low profile. I wouldn't go so far as to replace a full sized mouse with this at my desk, but for use on the road the balance of comfort, features, and portability are well done.

There are lot of things to consider when buying a new mouse. Most look at comfort first. Others will look at DPI and polling and all sorts of fancy gaming stuff. But have you ever considered noise? Well the guys over at Nexus have. Here we have the Nexus Silent Mouse. It's silent. As in no clicking sound. The idea is that professionals and noise haters can work in piece and quiet without that obnoxious clicking sound to distract them (they specifically mention TV and Music studios). If silence is what you're after read on for a more in depth look at the Nexus Silent Mouse.

As a gamer, I am very concerned about comfort. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of comfort, is of course, the peripherals. From the mouse to the keyboard, these things are quite important to even the best of us. From those gamers who prefer the old school Microsoft IntelliMouse, to more modern gaming devices such as the Razer Naga or Logitech G500, there is an element of comfort we have grown to appreciate. This is especially true for enthusiasts in this department. However, one thing that is often overlooked by some is the gaming surface. Be it a desk surface, a cloth mousepad, a glass mousepad, or even a metal mousepad, familiar and comfortable surfaces usually lead to better performance -- or at least increased comfort in gaming. Some people might even say it increases productivity in office work. Either way, the mousepad can be a very significant part of any computing experience. From all of this, it is quite easy to guess we will be taking a look at a gaming surface today. The product we will be taking a look at is sent to us from a well known gaming company -- SteelSeries -- who is renowned for their mousepads, headphones, keyboards, and mice. The SteelSeries QcK mass has the "mass" tacked on to the back due to the density of the material used to create this mousepad. Read on to find out how this affects the overall usage of this gaming surface, and how well it stacks up in the real world.
