Up for review today I have the Sacool Bluetooth stereo headset from Avantree and it’s aimed at active people as it is lightweight and even splash proof so you could take it running outdoors and not worry about the rain. The headset has multimedia controls right on the left earpiece for you for ease of use and the built-in battery should provide up to six hours of usage either listening to music or talking on the phone or a combination of both. The headset sounds great in theory but I wasn’t exactly happy with it so read on to learn more..

The idea behind the Auna PS-7801s is a sound one – plug the transmitter into your hi-fi, MP3 player or PC, then use the speakers wirelessly up to 100 metres away. Admittedly at that range you’ll be in a bit of a fix if you want to change tracks, but whatever, we’ll go with it. With down-firing subwoofers, integrated handles and some very PC gamer blue LED lighting, the Auna PS-7801s could be a big hit if they live up to their promise of power and portability. Let’s have a closer look and find out.

Today we will be reviewing the Audyssey Audio Dock Air, which is designed to send digital audio from your computer, iPhone, iPod, or iPad wireless to this speaker system. While technically not a dock the Audyssey Audio Dock Air does include a 3.5 mm input on the back for hooking up a sound source via its headphone output jack if so desired

In order to get the best out of your gaming experience, you have to feel the noise. Yeah, Quiet Riot did have it right all those sixty or so years ago. With the advances in audio gaming technologies, we can now “feel” the power of a shotgun or experience the thud of falling from a roof onto the ground. Watching movies with 3D sound is okay, but gaming with it is the first step to Game Nirvana. Do you know what it feels like to take an artillary round in your ear-hole? You will.

Today I feel very lucky indeed, it was only a few days ago I got to test the gorgeous Attitude One Tunguska 7.1 headset and now I get to try out their new Vintorez USB gaming mouse. While that may not sound like the most exciting week ever to some, it is to me, because Attitude One are a new brand to us here at eTeknix and it’s always great to see some fresh products in the market that aren’t coming from the current big players.
Gaming mice are in no short supply, the market is flooded beyond count with peripherals that are all shapes, sizes and colours. There seems to be a product tailored to every type of gameplay, style and age group so it’s always a tricky one when you see a new product in this sector as there is often very little innovation to offer the market at this time. Yet style, performance and many other factors are highly subjective so when it gets down to it, it never really hurts to have more choice on the market as there should always be something out that is right for you, the trouble is, it can often be hard to tell which one.
Hopefully today we can clear up a few things and find out if the Vintorez is right for you or not, so let’s get straight to the good stuff and see just what Attitude One have to offer us this time around.

External storage devices have become extremely popular, USB sticks up to 64gb in size and small 2.5inch laptop drive based external HDDs up to 500gb. Size isn't everything though, today we test three HDD docking stations, from Sunbeamtech, Sharkoon and Thermaltake, which make adding extra HDD space to your PC child's play; these docking stations take any 2.5/3.5inch devices, even SSD.

The Asus Xonar Xense sound card/Sennheiser PC350 headset bundle definitely lives up to its claim of being a premium gaming set. If you want to hear games, movies and music the way they were meant to be heard, this combination of products will make it happen.

You don't have to be an audiophile to appreciate the enhanced surround sound effects from Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio found on most Blu-ray Disc movie discs over the standard Dolby Digital or DTS formats found on standard DVD movie discs. The lossless audio compression formats and/or the two extra channels of sound output really adds a significant amount of realism to the whole movie watching experience. The problem is most HTPC owners don't have the ability to experience these enhanced formats due to a lack of sound cards on the market that can support these formats. Benchmarkreviews has the ASUS Xonar HDAV 1.3 Slim sound card that does just that. Benchmark Reviews have put it through a series of tests and have determined whether HTPC owners can rejoice or not.

Recently ASUS and their Republic of Gamers brand announced the Vulcan ANC headset, a high end gamer product which is designed to offer great features, build quality and design. Included in this is active noise cancelling technology which will appeal to those who game, or listen to multimedia, in a noisy environment. Today we have the Vulcan ANC attached to our system as we find out whether it can compete with headsets sold by manufacturers such as Razer and SteelSeries.
