Having an iPod is not enough in terms of enjoying a great music experience. You should get quality earphones that deliver a high fidelity sound. We got two models from Cresyn: the C750E earbud and the CS-HP500 bendable headphone. Both come with a leather carrying bag, and the C750E has two additional ear tips so it can fit better in any ear size. We tested them for several weeks while walking the city with our iPod Touch (tested here).

Traditionally a headset is basically a large pair of earmuffs which have speakers in the ears and lots of padding for comfort. Roccat are clearly very good in this field with their recently released Kave 5.1 which was definitely given the thumbs up.

Sometimes, quality and good looks don’t come hand in hand. However, after spending some time with the iPopperz earbuds I can say that’s not the case. SteelSeries was on hand at PAX 09 to show off their new gaming mice, the Kinzu optical mouse and Xai laser mouse. These mice are superior to the Ikari in some respects, but some users will still prefer the Ikari for its comfortable shape.

When Cooler Master launched the CM Storm brand they were targeting gamers, and with the Sentinel Advance they are showing they are not content with just cases. For a first delve into gaming peripherals, the Sentinel Advance hits a lot of high notes. A 5600 DPI laser, onboard profiles and OLED screen all come together in a handsome package that allows plenty of tweaking. The LED lights while slightly gimmicky can allow for quick profile detection should you be switching in the dark.

We've already taken a look and the TactX Keyboard and Mouse, today we have on review their OptX HD Monitor and TactX Headset. Is this ‘outside the box’ thinking from Alienware good enough to match up with components inside the box of many higher end systems? Let's take a look...

Remember a few generations ago when civilization thought it had arrived once there were flying cars and lasers all over the place? Well I'm still waiting on my H.P. Hovercraft, but laser technology is so common that it's in just about everything, including computer mice. The use of a laser sensor (or two) is used in the pointing devices for extremely accurate positioning, and tracks on just about every surface. Regardless of this fact, PC gamers (and desktop jockeys) still look for high-end mousepads for their digital rodents.
