Razer is one of the biggest names in the gaming market, famed for their range of award-winning peripherals, as well as their support for eSports and their related gaming teams. The controller I'm looking at today is the Razer ONZA, a Razer peripheral tailored to be the ultimate precision tool for eSports, pro gamers and of course any other gamer who wants the best tool for the job. Of course some of you may already know that this isn't exactly a new product for a Razer and it has been on the market for a while now. I've even had the chance to try it out a few times in the past at various gaming events, but this is the first time I've gotten to spend a significant amount of time with this premium controller.
SteelSeries removed all the bells and whistles from the regular Apex keyboard and released a [RAW] version of the peripheral without the spare USB ports, cloth-wrapped cable, and selective illumination by zone, among other things. However, it kept the basics: 17 macro keys (that can store 34 macros), the excellent configuration software, and the stylish angled design. Let's describe it first and then see how this "less sophisticated" Apex fared.

Mad Catz are one of the hottest peripheral brands on the market, they've already built themselves a fantastic reputation for doing things just that little bit differently to some of the other big names and when it comes to their range of mice, nothing looks quite like a Mad Catz mouse. The distinctive look set them apart quickly and as we've seen in countless reviews of their products, not just on eTeknix but on multiple review media, Mad Catz back their looks up with exceptional build quality, pack their product full of high end features and of course they're getting pretty cool too.
So when Mad Catz announced that they would be launching a mouse for the mobile market, or should I say a mouse that is more mobile that they usually are, a more compact solution that packs wireless tech, good ergonomics and hopefully still plenty of the features we've come to love about the Mad Catz range, the only downside is that this mouse would cost in the region of £85! Which is to say the least, pretty damn expensive for a small mouse, so it's either overpriced or it's packing some neat surprises to justify the cost, well if the specification sheet is to be believed, it looks more like the latter.
High DPI, good acceleration and tracking speed, loads of programmable buttons, powerful wireless range, this is certainly no cut down mobile product, this is a mini gaming monster!
Mad Catz really changed the game when they released their R.A.T. series of gaming mice. I always thought that the mice looked cool, but because of their design I doubted that they would be comfortable at all. Well after reviewing Mad Catz M.M.O. 7 mouse, which is based off the R.A.T. design my mind was really blown. Not only was the mouse one of the most comfortable I have ever used it was made of quality materials and worked very well. This year at CES Mad Catz let us know they were making a gaming mouse for mobile users and it is finally here, the R.A.T. M. This mouse is much smaller than your normal mouse, features 10 programmable buttons, a 6400 DPI laser sensor, and Bluetooth Smart technology. If you game on a laptop this may be the perfect mouse for you.
Cooler Master has been building mechanical keyboards under its CM Storm line for the last couple of years. They started with the small Quickfire Rapid, and moved over time to larger designs, but Cooler Master’s newest design harkens back to the original Quickfire Rapid, bring improvements on its design and giving it sleek exterior with no markings on the tops of its keys. The question that Benchmark Reviews aims to answer though is whether Cooler Master improved enough to justify the extra cost or are users better off going with the original Quickfire Rapid.
In the office today we have something a little special, the Corsair K95 mechanical keyboard and it’s not only the latest in the very cool Vengeance range of products from Corsair, but also Corsair’s new flagship keyboard. We’ve already had great fun testing previous keyboards from Corsair so if this is truly the best they have to offer then I’m really looking forward to testing it out. It was only recently that we took a look at the gorgeous Corsair K70 and I still find that to be one of my all time favourite mechanical keyboards, but can the K95 really be that much better?
Corsair are one of the biggest names in the industry, there is a good chance your current system, a previous system or your next system contains something they’ve made, be that a power supply, cooler or even a chassis. Playing off the success of their hardware business they’ve also created some incredible peripherals in recent years and their headsets, keyboards and in my opinion especially their mice are some of the best around.
The keyboard we are looking at today isn’t cheap, although mechanical keyboards rarely are cheap, this one is set to cost you a whopping £130 and that is a stern investment for any peripheral so today I will be expecting to see all of the Corsair pedigree crammed into this keyboard, flawless performance and premium grade build quality because nothing short of perfection would make me spend so much money on a device like this.
