CM Storm Xornet II RGB Optical Gaming Mouse @ Eteknix
Peripherals
CM Storm never sleep and are always releasing new and improved version of their products. Today is a new and certainly impressive looking mouse although it isn't specifically an upgrade to a previous product. It is in fact fairly similar to their very popular CM Storm Spawn but with a few key differences, that some might consider make it the little brother of the family.

Keyboards come in all shapes and sizes - from simple to advanced, basic or with display, or with a sound card or extra keys. Some people swear by mechanical keyboards and refuse to use anything less. Usually they are built with quality materials, have a solid feel and provide tactile feedback when typing. CM Storm's Trigger mechanical keyboard recently saw a Europe-wide release, which is reason enough for Hardware.Info to take closer look at this robust-looking keyboard.

Mechanical keyboards are slowlybecoming increasingly more popular; The Trigger is CM Stormslatest mechanical keyboard featuring Cherry MX Blackswitches, a popular choice amongst gamers, so lets see howit fairs.

A few months back Cooler Master allowed me to review The CM Storm Quick Fire Pro (QFP). In that review I proclaimed that “Cooler Master hit the nail on the head when focusing on the important aspects of a gaming keyboard.” If you read the review you’ll know that I really liked the Quick Fire Pro and then Cooler Master up and HAD to send me the CM Storm Trigger. The CM Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard for all intents and purposes is the “smarter hotter sister” of the Quick Fire Pro. Even though I’ve been hooked on the Roccat ISKU Illuminated Gaming Keyboard recently why do I feel like I’m cheating? I really need to get out more…The CM Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is the first gaming keyboard that Bob asked me to review in what I refer to as the “dime-piece” category. For the most part, regardless of price, the recent gaming keyboards I’ve reviewed for ThinkComputers have been in the Mid-Upper price tier of gaming peripheral products. The Trigger on the other hand is in the highest price tier and is supposed to be the best of the best that Cooler Master has to offer. Let’s see if it lives up to the hype.

Yesterday SONY announced the upcoming Playstation 4 console, short of that is since we didn't actually see the console itself so my guess is that SONY has yet to decide on the design which is fine since we will not see it before this summer. Of course Microsoft is not far behind since they will also be announcing their upcoming XBOX 720 quite soon (probably by July in order to make Christmas sales). Regardless i am not much into consoles (but i do acknowledge that many are) mainly because i consider them quite inferior (specs wise) and also because i don't like gamepads/d-pads (a keyboard just doesn't feel at home when used with a console so PCs all the way for me). So because i happen to love using keyboards i always do my best to test every single one i can get my hands on and today we will be talking about the TRIGGER Mechanical Gaming Keyboard by CM STORM.
