Tra le caratteristiche principali troviamo una compattezza estrema, una completa modularità dei connettori, la presenza di cavi con uno sleeving allo stato dell’arte in termini di compattezza e qualità, oltre ovviamente alle solite protezioni interne e caratteristiche intrinseche che caratterizzano gli alimentatori di questo famoso marchio. È un modello perfetto per l’integrazione in sistemi dalle dimensioni compatte, senza nulla togliere però alla potenza di calcolo del sistema, a causa dell’elevato wattaggio continuo di 750W. Another year has passed, and great things are coming out of APH Networks as usual. With lots of content returning to our weekly review schedule in collaboration with the rest of the team, it's definitely a great way to start off the year. I have the pleasure of doing the first power supply report of 2010, and man, do we have an interesting one this week. SilverStone has been highly regarded for both their quality chassis and power supplies over the years. From their Element line of PSUs, all the way to their Zeus series of power supplies, they have been known for both quality as well as value. They have used many OEMs ranging from FSP to Impervio; it is quite interesting how all these different OEMs branded under SilverStone have done so well.
After going through SilverStone’s ST1000-P and seeing the quality it offered, we thought it would be great to take a look at something a little less high from SilverStone. What we came up with was the ST50F-P. SilverStone also suggested that we take a look at their PP05 Short Cable Kit, so we have included it in this review.
In today's preview we will be looking at as the title suggests Silverstone’s Strider 1000W Plus modular PSU, the strider series has already proven itself to us with some solid rails as well as a decent modular system over the years Now with demands for more power from end users the latest incarnation of the Strider (ST-1000-P) will suit most needs and from my experience with the previous Strider 1000w model (ST-1000W) This has a lot to live up to.."

Oggi abbiamo il piacere di presentarvi un alimentatore del famoso marchio Silverstone, il modello Strider da 600W con certificazione 80plus GOLD (Sulla scatola è certificato Silver ma ha appena raggiunto questa certificazione! ). Il modello si caratterizza per un fattore importantissimo, specialmente per cabinet SSF: le dimensioni davvero molto contenute! E’ interamente modulare ed è stato progettato per essere inserito in cabinet dell’omonimo produttore, laddove le dimensioni fanno appunto la differenza. SilverStone’s new Strider Plus 600W is quite the nifty unit. It is built well, it performs well and to be honest, there just isn’t too much to complain about. Through our four tests, including the little run in the hot box the Strider Plus 600W continued to impress us by its line regulations and solid efficiency numbers.
