It has been awhile since our last PSU review and today we are glad to introduce you another interesting, high performance PSU. Our hero today is Arctic Cooling Fusion 550R which is a 550W ATX2.2 PSU. Besides green and high efficient, Arctic Cooling Fusion 550R has another unique feature; an ultra quiet 80mm fan. Let us go through further.

Arctic Cooling konnte sich innerhalb der letzten Jahre besonders im
Bereich der PC-Kühlungen etablieren und bietet Lösungen für nahezu jede
Anwendung. In diesem Jahr präsentierte Arctic Cooling sein erste Serie von
PC-Netzteilen - die Fusion Modelle. Der Schweizer Hersteller konzentriert
sich, mit 500W, vorerst auf nur eine Leistungsklasse. Im heutigen Review
sehen wir uns das Fusion 550R an, welches für den europäischen Markt
produziert wird (zu den anderen Varianten später mehr).
Arctic Cooling ist ein namhafter Kühlerhersteller, der nun in die Netzteilbranche eingestiegen ist. Stellt sich uns also die Frage, ob dieser Start von Erfolg gekrönt ist. Zwecks dessen haben wir uns das Fusion 550R mit 500W Leistung geordert. Dieses wird wie immer unserem starken Belastungstest standhalten müssen und insbesondere bei der Kühltopologie beurteilt.
