Vor einigen Tagen haben wir bereits das FirePSU mit 625 Watt von Sapphire getestet. Abgesehen vom Preis hat es zwar die guten Stärken der leisen Modu82+ übernommen, allerdings vor allem auch dessen Schwächen. Da das Revolution85+ als technisch bessere Basis bezeichnet werden kann, ist es eine gute Grundlage für das Sapphire PurePSU 950W (SFI950AWT), welches wir jetzt vorstellen.
It has been more than a year since Thermaltake diversified into the power supply market. We reviewed a few of their mainstream supplies back then and found them to be competitive and appealing products. Today we will have a look at a PSU from their latest high performance series, the Toughpower XT 850W. Thermaltake designed the Toughpower XT series with enthusiasts in mind and the result is a very interesting product with a massive 12V line and a very long range of features. That said, the power output and retail price pit it against the very best products currently available. We will soon see if it has what it takes to compete with the rest of the products of its class.
NZXT has just released an 80 Plus Gold power supply series, called the HALE90, which also features a modular cabling system and single +12 V rail. Let's see how their 850 W model fared in our tests.
Thermaltake continues to improve the Toughpower line, as we have for review today their latest 775W XT. This marks a deviation from their normal model numbering scheme of using power ratings in increments of 50W, with a 575W, 675W and 875W units also joining the ranks. The refreshed Toughpower XT series continues to offer Thermaltake's usual amenities such as 80 Plus Bronze efficiency, 50° C continuous power rating, S.P.T. visual status monitor, single +12v rail design and both nVidia and ATI multi-gpu certification.
