While Intel Sandy Bridge-MS does not pledge inherent multi-GPU support, it is a waste to ignore its performance potential - particularly for multi-GPU systems. What the Intel Sandy Bridge microarchitecture offers for multi-GPU configurations, is higher IPC that alleviates processor bottlenecks which have plagued multi-GPU systems for so long.

Today AMD is announcing six new processors to the existing AMD Athlon II processor lineup. At first glance all these budget processor models look like simple speed bumps over their predecessors, but there is a little more to it than just that. First, AMD is holding the price point on ALL top Athlon II processors. Second, all these new processors are revision C3 silicon.

What do you call a processor that is ten months late, uses a lot of power, and overpromises in performance but underdelivers in practice? Now it would be kind of mean to point fingers and name names here, but I promise you it is not Sandy Bridge. Earlier this year, we have reviewed a couple of Intel's second generation Core CPUs, including the Intel Core i5-2500K and Core i3-2120 -- with both living up to everything every enthusiast raves about over and over again pretty much everywhere you go. It is simply unquestionable that these processors are superior to its predecessors and the competition in almost every way -- whether it is performance, power consumption, bang for your buck, and at least for the enthusiast oriented K-series, overclocking. With that in mind, what we have here at APH Networks this morning is yet another Sandy Bridge core CPU for review. While the Intel Core i5-2405S is not designed for overclocking (It is unfortunate it comes with a locked multiplier and a base clock you can't play around with), the little 's' at the end of its name means there is one thing that it focuses on: Reduced TDP from 95W to 65W. Actually, before we begin, let me just clarify on one thing first. The difference between the Core i5-2400s and 2405S is the 2405S comes with Intel HD Graphics 3000 rather than 2000. Are we all good? Let's waste no time for the details.

If you live in North America, you may remember the recent Gatorade commercial "What's G?". Well, that seems like the perfect phrase for what we're going to be taking a look at today; none other than the Thermaltake's newest gaming chassis, the Element G. The newly released Element G is one of three cases as a part of Thermaltake's Element Series.

Toc, toc, anzi tick-tock!

Oftentimes we will get people asking us about building a gaming PC on a budget, with the ability to upgrade in the future. Well today we will be bringing you our AMD A8 7650K review, which is priced aggressively and certainly packs a punch.
This APU can be used in a variety of ways, like a low budget gaming PC with room for upgrades, a HTPC, heck even cheap work stations aren’t out of the realm of possibility, but before we make any bold claims lets take a look at its performance.
