The smaller versions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One are clearly less powerful than the full-size versions, but that's not so much the case for the Sony Xperia ZR since it runs on the same SoC as the Xperia Z. The only real downgrade is in the resolution of the screen, but 1280x720 is still fine for a phone this size. The quality of the panel isn't on the same level as other brands, however. It's not poor by any means, but other manufacturers have proven that better is possible.
