ASUS ROG Mod - Made By Besi - Assembly and Presentation Part 3

In the second part of these series we've shown you the manufacturing of Besis ROG PC. For this he needed an aluminium body to which numerous red fins, made from acrylic glass, are attached. These give the case an aerodynamic shape and allow good visibility to the hardware. In this part of the series we're going to show you with a lot of pictures how the thing is assembled and in the end there will be some shots where you see some very nice picture of the completed project.

Installation Heat Exchangers and Power Supply

First of all Besi takes the base frame. After that he connects the two heat exchangers to the frame by using four screws each. Like this he can be sure that they are well tightened to the basic structure of the case and there will be absolutely no rattling noise or anything similar. The heat exchangers are place in a V position and the connectors for the water tubes can be found in the front third of the case.

The next thing does is, he puts the power supply in place. The Corsair AX850 finds its place between the two heatexchangers where it fits perfectly. besi has also thought of a hole in the back of the base frame through which the power supply can get fresh air to keep temperatures at an adequate level. Looking at the cables Besi makes them face in the same direction as the water tubes.

Insatllation Motherbaord Tray and Hardware

In order to put the motherboard tray into the right position Besi had to make spacer screws. These spacer screws have been placed between radiators and power supply. Once the motherboard tray has been tightened to the distance screws he can go get his precious hardware and put it in place.

Besi decided to install quite a complex water cooling cooling solution, where he went for componentes from Aquacomputer. Installing the hardware is unspectacular. Putting the motherboard, memory, GPU and all the other components in place is piece of cake because every thing is very well accessible. Besi even crafted some sweet little caps for the fans. Like this he can cover the center of the fans where the manufacturers lable is.

ROG Mod finished

Once the red fins are in place, this project looks truly amazing. Besi made himself the effort to do every little detail as perfect as possible and the manufacturing quality of this mod is not from this planet. But now worte enough. We let the pictures speak from now on:
