    Front

Basically Corsair equipped their Vengeance K60 FPS Gaming Keyboard with a standard keybaord layout, which has been extended additional multimedia key. Generally the Vengeance K60 FPS keyboard comes with a high quality finish and very decent looks. Furthermore high durability is guaranteed by the use of metal as the basic material. It's been a very good idea to use metal for this keyboard. It suits the longevity of the Cherry MX Red key perfectly, which can withstand 50 million keystrokes.

Totally Corsair equipped the Vengeance K60 FPS with five multimidea key and a drum roller to increase or decrease the volume. These keys have been positioned in the top right corner of the keyboard and they are made of metal and therefore very robust. Furthermore there is another key, which is there to deactivate the Windows key whilest you're gaming. Of course there are also the three standard LEDs you find on every keyboard, which indicate the activity of the numbers block, activity of caps lock as well as the activity of scroll lock. Furhtermoer on the backside of the keyboard there is an additional USB 2.0 port. This one is being routed through and therefore the keyboard occupies two USB ports from the I/O panel of your mainboard.

Also the backside of the Vengenace K60 FPS Gaming Keyobard from Corsair looks very solid. At this place the manufacturer chose palstic instead of metal but never the less there is enough stiffniss, especially in combination with the metal front plate. What's quite special is that this keyboard comes with four feet that can be flipped open to make the entire keyboard stand higher. Normally only two feet can be used to adjust the angle of the keyboard. Furthermore there is the possibility to attach the box, which houses the additional key, to the keyboard. Like this you get a comfrotable hand rest which is very nice to have when gaming.

    Conclusion

with the Vengeance K60 FPS, Corsair has a very high quality Gaming Keyboard in its portfolio which is able to gather a lot of plus point through the use of Cherry MX Red keys. We also liked that the front plate has been made of metal which really suites the long lasting Cherry MX keys. On the other hand we were missing a software to program keys. Not only MMO Gamers but also people who prefer first person shooter (FPS games) like macro keys. They're simply useful in any case.

Regarding the design Corsair combines black keys with a bare metal basis, which really like. Never the less they could have made a real eyecatcher if the integrated a decent background lighting for the individual keys. Very practical is also the box you get, where the additional keys are stored. You can easily attach the box to the keyboad which then  makes it a comfortable hand rest. We liked it very much when gaming. Furhtermore there are the additional keys with a special silicon coating. This provides extra-grip and makes gaming even more accurate.

Another thing for which this keyboard is very good, is simple typing. The Cherry MX Red switches are highly comfortable. It takes almost no time at all to get used to the key although they do not have a defined release point.

Last but not least we recommend the Corsair Vengeance K60 FPS to any Gamer who's also using the keyboard for standard office work. We think that this keyboard is a very good compromise of both worlds.

The Corsair Vengeance K60 Gaming Keyboard gets good four out of five stars.
