Closer Look

With the first look at the Neon 3K it is obvious that we are looking at a harmoniusly and ergonomically shaped gaming mouse. The shape is classic and the dimensions are average. The materials are well-made and the mouse is also well manufactured with a lot of attention to detail. The rough and porous surfaces ensure excellent grip, while the smooth top makes the mouse very comfortable right from the beginning. The shape and the arrangement of the buttons make this mouse symmetrical and therefore suitable for right-handed and left-handed gamers. Other than that, the Ozone Neon 3K features a very smooth surface with a black matte finish. The materials used are of very good quality and comfortable. The Ozone Neon 3K gaming mouse features a total of eight buttons which are fully programmable via software. The top of the mouse features the classic button devoted to the DPI setting as well as a solid wheel which is backlit and almost entirely covered with rubber. All the buttons are placed precisely where they belong, and even the top ones are easy to reach and not prone to accidental clicks.

Back

Ozone decided to equip the Neon 3K with a Pixart PMW-3320 sensor. The maximum resolution is 3500 DPI, which is more than enough for any kind of gamer. The optical sensor is placed in the center. If you are looking for additonal weights, you will be disappointed, since this mouse does not allow for any customization in that direction. Ozone decided to provide the Neon 3K with two big, high-quality glide pads. Furthermore, the glide pads are made from teflon, which means they will last for a very long time. A closer look at the cable reveals that it has been braided with a black braid.

Software

Unlike many other manufacturers, Ozone does not include the software inside the package but you can always download the latest version from the official website. The software GUI is perfectly in line with the attractive design of the mouse and it is practical and easy to use. With the supplied software, you can configure basically everything you might like to set yourself, such as for example, lighting, DPI, macros and much more.

General + -
The Ozone Neon 3K is a very solid product, and overall, we were impressed with the build quality and a very good shape. The six color backlight is well done and pleasant. It is perfect to add a personal touch your mouse. The build quality is excellent and all the materials are perfect. The weight and size of the Neon 3K make it suitable for palm grip users. Even the pads are excellent, generous in size and good on any surface.   - Design
- Six color LED

Performance / Ergonomics   + -
As usual, we used the gaming mouse in both 2D and 3D environments for our tests. After a few days of use with standard office applications we can say that, despite being a gaming mouse, the Ozone product behaves very well any scenario as well, mostly thanks to the  numerous options that you can change within the software. Also, the gaming experience is very good, and we have used the Neon 3K with both RTS and FPS games without any problem. Furthermore, we really like the glide pads, which are big, made from teflon and offer excellent gliding performance. The Ozone Neon 3K gaming mouse features a total of eight buttons that despite they may seem like too many, they are comfortable and overall well placed; in our opinion only side buttons are a little bit too small.   - Sensor
