Bundle
Overview |
|
The Antec Nineteen Hundred bundle is pretty straight-forward. The actual box is made out of cardboard with all the basic informations printed on it. Inside, we found the Nineteen Hundred wrapped up in a plastic bag, and safely placed inside two big pieces of styrofoam,
ensuring that it will not be damaged during shipping. Along with the case itself, the bundle also includes an instruction manual, which is always helpful, and a few other things
like plastic bags with enough screws needed to assemble your system and zip-ties.

Product overview
Overview |
|
|
|
The Antec Nineteen Hundred
is a super-mid-tower case with a rather generous size and is
characterized by a clean and elegant design. The front features three
5.25" slots and a very big plastic panel that hides the front fans. On the top part
of the front panel you get two USB2.0 and four 3.0 ports as well as power and reset buttons.
The top panel shares the same style as the front
one and it is here where you can find small vents holes that hide the two top fans. All panels are removable and share a very good quality.
The Antec Nineteen Hundred is a well-designed case and uses the most common and best solutions, in fact, we
found many dust filters at the top and on the front of the case. The
Antec Nineteen Hundred is also available in several colors: green / black and red / black. |

Installation
Overview |
|
|
The inside
of the Antec Nineteen Hundred is quite big, even though you might think it is not, since there is a big additional panel on the PSU area.
The whole case is pretty big since is almost 70 cm high. As we already said, the motherboard tray features pre-soldered standoffs, so that you can fix your motherboard without any hassle. There is also a big opening behind the socket, so that you can install aftermarket cooling systems without having to take the whole motherboard off. On the tray, there are four openings for routing cables
and since there is a lot of space between the motherboard tray and the right panel
you should have enough room to do a decent job with cable routing. The HDDs and SSDs can be installed
very easy thanks to the included slides. The most interesting aspect of this case is definitely the space dedicated to the power supply. Since this case offers plenty of space inside, Antec decided to give the user the possibility to install
one power supply at the top and another at the bottom. As you may have noticed from the pictures, the lower compartment offers generous
space and a large cover that will allow you to hide all the cables in order to obtain
the system clean and tidy. The lower chamber is not only meant for the power supply but allows you to install six additional hard drives.
For our setup, we used an E-ATX motherboard from EVGA and as you can see from the pictures there is still plenty of space available. This case is definitely born for multi-GPUs setups.

Ventilation options
Overview |

|
From the
cooling point of view, the Antec Nineteen Hundred offers a large number of possibilities.
The front comes with three pre-installed 120mm fans with dust filters, while the rear includes another 120mm fan.
The top of the case can accommodate two 120mm fans, which are already installed with two dust filters. The case, thanks to the internal space can easily accommodate
hefty CPU heatsink. If you are a fan of liquid cooling systems you might be
a bit disappointed since there is only room to install a 240 mm radiator at the top. In any case, Antec has provided two rubber grommets for tubes in case you want install an external radiator. |

Conclusion
General |

Antec has made a great and
definitely a huge product with the Nineteen Hundred. It features a clean and classic design
and uses materials of excellent workmanship. The build quality is perfect
and in line with what we have expected from Antec, with a very good paint
finish and cooling solutions. In addition, the bundle is also very rich and inside you will find
six fans which are already pre-installed, something that is definitely
rare these days. The price is a bit high as on Geizhals, the Antec
Nineteen Hundred is sold at about 180 euro excluding shipping costs. |

The build quality is always good with Antec and it is something that we certainly did not have any doubt
about. The internal space is painted black and there are no sharp edges. The steel is heavy and very sturdy but this quickly affects the weight of the product, in fact, this monster
of a case reaches and exceeds 15 Kg. In terms of comfort, we appreciate the presence of grommets, holes and tool-less systems. We particularly appreciate the cover for the power supplies compartment
as it is possible to get a super clean and powerfull setup with this case. |

Of course, the design is always a matter of taste. In our opinion, Antec has created a very elegant product with innovative and functional solutions. Despite being a rather closed case, there are many air vents, mesh and
cooling options. Internally, the solutions adopted by Antec are great, however, if you like
liquid cooling systems you will be disappointed as the Nineteen Hundred offers space for only one 240mm radiator
at the top part of the case. If you prefer air cooling solutions, this case offers a lot of space for huge heatsinks and coolers. Like every big case,
this Antec PC case also offers plenty of space for HDDs and SSDs. |
