Syva are the latest headset from Roccat and the product has been designed for gamers and others who simply want to listen to music or make phone calls with their smartphone/tablet. This headset is characterized by an aggressive design and a practical dual-function in-line remote control as well as a light blue/black flatband cable.

Test conditions
Regarding our headset test, especially the microphone one, we subjectively describe acoustics, microphone quality as well as ergonomics. The end result therefore relies also on the tester himself. We are doing our best to ensure comparable results even if different reviewers were testing different products. Wearing confort and ergonomics
The Roccat Syva is a gaming headsets which is definitely versatile and lightweight. It features a stylish design dominated by the traditional brand colors, blue and black. Unlike other more conventional earphones, the flat cable of the Syva is rather complicated to twist, while the rubber that covers the header of the earphones is well made and fairly soft. The package includes three different interchangeable ear-plugs, so as to meet the needs of all buyers. The Syva headphones are not only for gaming or music since the cable features a convenient remote control with a single button but a double function, play and call.

Acoustics
Headphone
The audio quality of the Syva total reflects our expectations. While the highs and mids are clear and sharp, the bass is not that good, and, in our opinion, not deep enough . We must remember that the Syva are compact headphones made to be used everyday and in different environments, so keeping these aspects in mind, maybe we are asking too much from a 10mm speakers. As for voice conversations, we must admit that the Syva make the sound really clear and pleasant.
Microphone
The built-in microphone works well on Syva, canceling out almost entirely any background noise. The multifunction play / call button is practical and very functional, and we surely appreciate this particular solution chosen by Roccat.

Conclusion
Overall, the Roccat Syva are a decent earphones able to offer a good sound experience, both in terms of comfort and functionality. Despite being a product designed for outdoor use, the Syva are comfortable and functional even at home or in the office.
At the price search engine Geizhals, the base price is about 29 euro excluding shipping costs. The price is in line with the competition, if you are looking for a pair of earphones for mixed use and general purpose, we suggest
that you consider the Syva as a real contender.
