Conclusion

With the Prime Titanium 600W Fanless, Seasonic released an absolute high-end power supply. There is a costly AC filtering stage and the massive use of Japanese capacitors, which - amongst other parts - add up to a great product. Due to the fact that this unit has been built by such high standards, it's hard to find any other PSU which has been built with similar attention to detail. As a result this PSU is very reliable even if you plan for long term usage.

Design wise, we really like the solid enclosure and the black paint. This unit is fanless, which means there will be no noise at all and luckily there also isn't any coil-whine. The Prime Titanium 600W Fanless is a fully-modular and the bundle contains everything you could ask for. The cables are long enough for any ATX case and there is a bunch of accessories included in the delivery, which even helps with cable management.

At the moment the Prime Titanium 600W Fanless is available on Geizhals for almost 200 Euro. Compare to the semi-passive model featuring the same wattage, this fanless unit comes with a 30 Euro premium. In this regard it needs to be kept in mind, that fanless power supplies require higher quality components than their actively cooled counterparts, whereas the individual parts have to be more resilient to higher average temperatures. Furthermore the PCB layout required further optimization for optimal convection. Furthermore the units comes with a 12 year warranty plan, which is simply industry leading.

This high-end power supply is absolutely worthy of receiving 5 out of 5 stars. If you want build a fanless setup or just a super quiet PC, we suggest to check out the Seasonic Prime Titanium 600W Fanless power supply.
