Connectors and I/O

Looking at the internal connectors you will find a COM, TPM, two USB3.0 headers (1x EtronTech EJ198H) for up to four front USB3.0 connectors and the front connector for power/reset and so. As for the internal storage we have a native mini-SAS header that provide up to four SAS 3Gb/s ports and two SATA3 (6Gb/s white) accompanied with four SATA2 (3Gb/s black).

Totally you'll find four fan headers on the Gigabyte GA-6PXSV3 which enough for a workstation motherboard, I wouldn't complain for one more though. Anyway you will find the CPU fan header right below the socket and the system fan headers spread over the PCB pictured below.

Looking at the external connectors directly at the back-panel, Gigabyte equipped this board with six USB2.0 ports, two Ethernet LAN ports, a COM connector, the analogue audio panl and the video out (VGA) for the ASPEED integrated graphic chip AST2300. The third LAN port is a management port (iKVM Server Management LAN (ASPEED 2300 IPMI 2.0)).
