Biostar

In europe Biostar is one of the smaller motherboard manufacturers. Never the less they have a very grown up portfolio regarding Z77 motherboards. They address the entry level as well as the high-end segment with their products and especially Z77XE series boards do look very nice in fact. What you get in this case is a black PCB with black expansion slots and golden coolers. Altogether the design and layout looks really good.

OCZ

The highlight at the OCZ booth for sure was the Vertex 4. Until today we haven't seen anything about this drive, which will be based on an Indilinx controller. The name Vertex already suggests that this drive comes with premium performance and therefore it should be able to deliver up to 90'000 IOPS as well as sequential throughput speeds above 500 Megabyte per second. In other words this means fierce competition with SandForce based drives. Furthermore OCZ also displayed their impressive server SSDs. Therefore there was the Z-Drvie as well as the Talos, which has just been announced.
