Chassis

As soon as you take the ASUS Eee PC 1215B out of the box you feel that it is well built. The plastic chassis leaves a good impression and does well during daily usage. Because netbooks in general use energy efficient CPU there is no need for a complex cooling system. In the case of the 1215B ASUS uses an AMD Brazos C50 APU whereas its CPU clocks with 1.0 GHz and the GPU is integrated on the piece of silicon as the CPU. The low thermal design power is also the reason that there are no hotspots at the chassis even when the APU is under full load.
