Closer Look - Part I

Like with every review we first have a look at the outside of the product before we open it up and checks what's happening on the inside. First of all the design. Nerf decided to choose a flashy combination of dark grey, white and orange. This will make it a bit tricky for you if you plan on becoming one with your environment, camouflaging from your toes to your head in order to launch a mean little surprise attack on your opponent (girl friend). Since the orange is rather well visible other tactics are more likely to end in a successful attack. We would recommend charging into the battlefieled like this is not going to be a tomrrow and fire everything you have as fast as possible to then run for your life. This way you might at least score a partial success.

What comes in very handy are the different firing modes. You have the possibility to work your opponent (girl friend) using single-fire (pull trigger halfway to fire one dart), double-shot (pull the rest of the way to fire second dart) or Slam Fire mode (hold trigger down and move handle rapidly back and forward). In the event of a sneak-attack we can highly recommend Slam Fire mode, which will allow you to fire the darts the fastest. If the mean approach doesn't work or if you simply want to scare your cat, which is climbing up the curtains for the 57th time, the double-shot is rather effective as well.
