SSD

Crystal Disk Mark

Concerning the storage, on the AK Rig Super 9 we find a Kingston Fury 240GB SSD and a WD Black 1TB HDD. We will not check the performance of the hard disk but only the solid state driver. We tested the Kingston Fury with Crystal Disk Mark and results reflect those declared by Kingston. The HyperX Fury is based on SandForce SF-2281 and is able to provide up to a maximum of 220 MB/s in sequential write and 470 MB/s in sequential reading. SandForce SF-2281 based drives aren't the fastest anymore and we would love to see for example a Samsung 850 Pro in this rig, which would be quite a bit quicker.
