Chassis / Design / Verarbeitung
As soon as you take the Toshiba Qosmio X770 -
107
out of its box, one of the first things you'll notice is the top panels
painting which comes with a gradient from anthracite to red. The cover itself
shows quite a lot of flex and therefore it doesn't offer as much build quality
as one might wish. Therfore the overall build quality is not bad but it also
isn't excellent.
Toshiba equips the Qosmio X770 - 107, which weighs 3.5 kilogram with an Intel
Core i7-2630QM CPU, eight gigabyte memory, a 500 gigabyte, 7.2k rpm as well as a
5.4k rpm 750 gigabyte hard drive, a NVIDIA
GeFore GTX 560M graphics chips with 1.5 gigabyte VRAM as well as a 17.3 inch 3D
capable display. The CPU features four cores with a total of eight threads which
have a baseclock of 2.0 GHz and a turbo clock of 2.9 GHz. Combined with the
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M mobile GPU the system produces way more than 100 watts of
dissipating power which needs to be cooled appropriately. In this context
Toshiba did a very good job and the cooler isn't more than subjectively "audible".
