Chassis

The G73JH's build quality is on a very high level. Regarding the design ASUS is courageous enough to go its own ways which lead to a notbook that comes with this looks of a recent stealth bomber. Therefore also the surface is covered with a matte, rubbery coating which also leave a very good impression.
Also with the cooling system ASUS did something you wont find in other notebooks. CPU and GPU each have their own heatpipe cooling solution. If you look at the notbook from behind you see two blow holes, behind those there are radial fans which move hot air from CPU and GPU efficiently out of the casing.
Regarding the test sample ASUS provided us with we had temperature issues in Furmark and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. In both situations the notebooks GPU overheated (110°C) and died with a black-screen. We hope this problem doesn't anymore occur with the final version of this gaming notebook.
