Apparently one of the main features of Corsair's new Crystal Series cases are the tempered glass panels coving the front, the top and both sides. Compared to other cases around, which also feature tempered glass, most of them feature a top panel that's made from aluminum or steel. Basically the glass panels have been wrapped around a standard steel body. Another key feature of this case is the illumination. Included in the delivery there are three RGB fans, which have been connected to a control unit. It allows you to change colors as wells a lighting modes to match individual taste.
When it comes to build quality there is nothing to complain, which is what we expect from Corsair. Looking at the
top of the case we find the I/O connectors as well as a power button. Strangely there is not reset button, which means that if you have to reset your system you'll need to keep the button pushed down for five seconds in order to turn your rig off. In total there are two USB 3.0 ports, two mini jacks (mic and headphone), the power button and three buttons to control the lighting. A quick look at the back reveals nothing out of the ordinary. There is a total of seven slot bezels, space for a standard ATX power supply and the back can be equipped with either a 120mm or a 140mm fan. |
