Conclusion

Overall the PC-Q10WX from Lian Li is a very good case. The PC-Q10WX is a gaming solution designed for those who wish to have a very compact yet exclusive gamin PC. There is plenty of space avaialble on the inside of the case, which helps with good compatibility. We appreciate the very small dimensions of this case, and it's remarkable that there is room for a high-end dual-slot graphics card as well as an ATX power supply.

The internal layout has been very well thought by Lian Li. When there are such small cases, it's a must to clearly structure the interior, otherwise installing hardware will become an annoying process. There is space for a slot-in-ODD at the front. The build quality is excellent and we like the bent panel, which covers the front as well as the top. Apart from that the side panels can be installed without the need of screws. The chassis is solid, sturdy and since the aluminum has been anodized the paint is as good as it gets. Although the side panels have not been made from tempered glass, as it is common with elegant high-end cases these days, we believe that even with the cheaper plexi glass this case features very good looking design. Despite the shape of the side panels and the particular structure of the case, the available interior space is quite good, especially considering the elegant look of the PC-Q10WX PC case. Also the area dedicated to the cable management is sufficient to allow a good wiring.
For our test we have used a high-end graphics, which is larger than what Lian Li recommends (270mm) should fit.

The Lian Li PC-Q10WX is available on Caseking for 140 Euro excluding shipping costs. The price is quite steep, but keeping in mind this is a beatifully made aluminum case it's about adequate. If you plan on building a nice looking and powerful mini ITX rig, then this case is definitely worth considering. We award it with 4 stars out of 5.
