With the Maelstrom IN WIN shows a good case which unfortunately has some issues. But as soon as you start looking at the price you wont be bothered anymore. | - Price
Manufacturing quality / Ergonomics | + | -
The Maelstrom is astonishingly well manufactured. Therefore the build quality is on a high level especially for such a well priced case. Every single piece fits perfectly and even the screw thread for all the screws are brilliant. But unfortunately as soon as you start installing your hardware you will notice that there are some issues. The harddrive can be installed without touching any the cases parts. The quite old fashioned method to install the grafics card with screws does not fit into the modern picture IN WIN generates with the Maelstroms design. We would have wished that there were thumb screws at least. |

With the Maelstrom IN WIN really succeeded in creating a gaming case that has a characteristic but not junky design. The yellow spots are well chosen and generate a fresh and even a bit fancy overall picture. Especially the fans with their yellow blades are nice to look at. Unfortunately the green handle bar in the middle of the front might polarize. You will either like it or not. | - Fresh and fancy | - Green handle bar
