Construction

Gelid Solutions Silent Spirit consits mainly of aluminium. The groundplate otherwise is made of copper as well as the heatpipes of which you'll find four. Totally you'll find 46 aluminium fins which are ventilated by a 92 mm fan which does 2400 rpm.

The groundplate also carries fins. The main part of the cooler is angled by 30 degree.

The push-pin mounting kit to fit the cooler on an Intel board is pre-installed. If you want to put the cooler on an AMD CPU you can simply exchange the mounting kit.

Design

To enlarge the cooling area the fins were provided with a special structure.

The 92 mm fan comes with an open casing and gray rotor blades. The top flow construction has the advantage that the area around the CPU is also cooled.
