MasterCase 5 Pro is the advanced version of the basic version, in fact in this case we find more supports for fans, radiators and HDDs. Inside the HDDs are placed within cages placed on special rails that allow a modular design. Overall inside you can install up to five HDDs 3.5" and two SSDs 2.5".
On the inside there is quite a lot of space available. The interior space available is adequate for a mid-tower case compatible with ATX motherboards, thanks to the large empty spaces located on the front and bottom of the case we believe that installing a custom systems is not a big deal. In this regard we have to remind that despite the rather generous size of the case, MasterCase 5 Pro supports only 120/140/240/280mm radiators. Although it is physically possible to install three fans on the front side, there isn't enough space in height to install a complete radiator. We do not believe they can get any future accessories that allow this change since the limit is purely structural.
The price of MasterCase 5 and MasterCase 5 Pro is 125 and 160 euro on Geizhals. On the same site there are also available some accessories such as top cover for installation of radiators, additional HDD cages and the side panel with window. Despite the rather rich bundle that includes three 140 mm fans that allow you to have a case ready-to-use, we believe that the price of both versions is slightly high. We are aware of the hard work done by Cooler Master, but at this price we would have expected to find something exclusive in order to justify a price of 160€, something like a fan controller or RGB LEDs.
The Mastercase 5 Pro earns 4 out of 5 stars.
