Wearing confort and ergonomics

The Kraken 7.1 headset from Razer is very comfortable and lightweight, mostly thanks to the used materials and the soft ear cushions. The headband features a small amount of rubber which is very good, rather soft and pleasant to the touch. The headphones are made mainly from plastic and the overall quality is on good level and you will not be able to find any manufacturing mistakes at all, something that we certainly expected from Razer. The headband is made of plastic and can be extended up to 45 mm on each side (total 90mm) through 13 steps. The cable is not removable but rather long and covered with a cable sleeve of good quality. The Kraken 7.1, as the name suggests, is a gaming headset with a 7.1 virtual surround usable on computers with the USB 2.0 port.
