Acoustics
Headphone
To test the Tunguska 7.1 we listened to different audio sources including games, music, streaming media and high-definition movies. Attitude One has chosen to use 40 mm ear cups with a big soft bolster that isolates your ears. After a few days of use in various fields, we can say that the sound quality is on a good level. The sound was never unbalanced and the preset is surprisingly linear for a gaming headset.
Only when the maximum volume was reached, we noticed some background noise. But listening to music, watching movies or playing games at such high volume
would not be too healthy anyway.
The virtual surround 7.1 performs very well, the audio experience is quite
immersive and it is pretty cool, especially in games like the Battlefield 4.
Microphone
The microphone in our opinion is too far from the mouth and often
with, for example, Team Speak or Skype conversations, the calling party has received some robotic or unclear voice. The remote control, located on the sleeved cable, is practical and convenient, however, made of a very cheap plastic,
which is a rather big suprise considering the quality of rest of the headset.
