With twelve models

During the last days, MSI has unveiled its motherboard lineup with a dozen of B450 motherboards. The company has unveiled a good mix split between full-size ATX and small form factor options. The line-up includes four models for each series: performance gaming, arsenal gaming and pro series.


New BIOS versions for all MSI Z370 motherboards

While Intel is expected to launch the Core 9000 series of processors during next October, MSI is already updating their existing motherboards with a new BIOS compatible with Intel Coffee Lake-S Refresh.


Entry-level ATX motherboard

The B450 Tomahawk from MSI is an entry-level motherboard that comes with a few interesting features. At a first glance the B450 Tomahawk offers everything you need for your daily gaming system and it should come with a rather reasonable price.


Entry-level motherboard

The H370 Gaming Plus from MSI is an entry-level and budget oriented motherboard that comes with a few interesting features. The motherboard features a red and black color scheme and it sports several RGB LEDs that can be adjusted with the official MSI application.


Featuring 10-phase VRM

The H370 Gaming Pro Carbon from MSI is a mid-range motherboard that comes with a few interesting features. Compared to the previous model, which goes by the name H270 Gaming Pro Carbon, we see a similar color scheme - as the name suggests - but a reworked layout and a new design for all the heatsinks.



Aircraft carrier for M.2 SSDs

A few weeks ago, MSI has shown a PCIe expansion card that can accomodate up to four M.2 SSDs. During the last months, we have seen similar solutions from ASUS and ASRock. Today we have more details about the upcoming Xpander-Aero card.


Entry-level ATX motherboard

The B450 Tomahawk from MSI is an entry-level motherboard that comes with a few interesting features. At a first glance the B450 Tomahawk offers everything you need for your daily gaming system. This motherboard should costs around 100-120 Euro.

First motherboard for Threadripper 2000 CPUs

According to latest rumors, this year we will not see any AMD X499 motherboard since AMD is going to use existing X399 chipset for the upcoming Threaripper 2000 series of processors. Techpowerup has spotted probably the first motherboard compatible with this CPUs. The motherboard is based on E-ATX form factor and sports several USB ports.


Based on AMD Polaris

MSI has unveiled a new series of graphics cards based on AMD Radeon Polaris chipsets. At the moment there are only two SKUs in the new MECH 2 range, the MSI Radeon RX 570 and 580 graphics cards. The cards are being launched as MSI claims to have formulated a new thermal design, allowing for higher core and memory speeds.


Featuring RGB fans

MSI is well known since they sell PC desktops, laptops, barebones, components and peripherals. However since a couple of days, you can find on official site two cases available as well. MSI has published the specification of the MAG Pylon and MAG Bunker PC cases in its Gaming Gear section.


All based on ATX form factor

A couple of days ago, AMD has unveiled Ryzen 2000 series of CPUs alongside with AMD X470 chipset. There are new boards around with the X470 chipset from every manufacturer, and from MSI as well. On following we will take a look at the Dragon Army's models.


Another high-end AM4 motherboard

The X470 Gaming M7 AC from MSI is a high-end motherboard that comes with a few interesting features. Compared to X370 Gaming M7 ACK, the updated model comes with a different heatsink design and less plastic covers. At a first glance the X470 Gaming M7 AC looks very similar to the Intel Z370 version with the same naming.


Featuring two 8-pin EPS power connectors

According to a leak that has been published on Videocardz, MSI is ready to launch two version of the X470 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard with and without onboard WiFi AC module. Like the previous model, the upcoming X470 Gaming Pro Carbon will offer an ATX motherboard that sports a lot of features.


Solid design

Thanks to yet another leak on Videocardz, there are more details on upcoming MSI B360 motherboards. This time we will have a look to the B360I Gaming Pro Carbon AC which looks a bit different to the Z370I Gaming Pro Carbon AC. According to latest rumors, Intel is planning to release their new Coffee Lake chipsets during the next few weeks.


Cryptocurrency mining effect

MSI tips its hat to the DIY crypto-currency mining hardware craze introducing the H310-F PRO Expert motherboard. This ATX form-factor motherboard comes with a twelve PCI-Express 3.0 x1 slots and one PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot.


Featuring a blower-style fan

MSI has unveiled its Dual M.2 x16 PCIe add-in-card, which is a daughter-board that can be equipped with two M.2 SSDs. We have already seen a similar card from ASUS however the the differences are subtle but significant.


Featuring 10-phase VRM

According to a leak that has been published on Videocardz, MSI is ready to launch a long list of motherboards based on the upcoming Intel H370, B360 and H310 chipsets. With the H370 Gaming Pro Carbon, the company will offer an ATX motherboard that sports a lot of features.


Soon available?

We all know that B360, H310 and H370 chipset based motherboards for Coffee Lake processors will be available in April. However, regarding Intel Z390 chipset there isn't any additional information. According to a rumor, Intel was supposed to release this chip in Q4 2017. Thanks to a changelog of AIDA64, we know that the chipset is still part of Intel's plan.


Soon available

MSI has expanded its monitor lineup with another model, featuring a 27-inch TN panel with 2560 x 1440 resolution. The grey-to-grey response time is 1ms and the refresh rate is 144Hz. Apart from that this monitor packs PrismSync Illumination.
