Price going up also in 2017

If you’ve been looking for new DRAM for your rig during the past months you might have noticed that prices were on the rise continuously. TrendForce has published their quarterly report explaining the different factors that contribute to this development. Between September and October of 2016 the average price of 4GB DRAM memory has increased by 20% jumping from 14.5$ to 17.5$.


For four quarters in a row

According to the latest market report, an average contract price of OEM SSDs has dropped by over 10 percent for each consecutive quarter in the last year suggesting that a larger number of notebooks will be coming with SSDs.
