First release on DecemberPlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) for PC will reach version 1.0 in late December, leaving behind its "Early Access" status on Steam. The download count for the multiplayer combat game has been estimated to be around 19.3 million according to SteamSpy and it has broken the record for concurrent players on Steam already in last September.

In other words the total bandwidth would increase by a factor of four compared to the current PCIe 3.0 in the case of a x16 configuration. The PCIe 3.0 standard has been here since quite some time (2010) offering a level of bandwidth that starts to be a limiting factor due to PCIe NVMe storage products and the growth of the GPU compute.
Finally availableThe UK-based PC case manufacturer Lazer3D, is launching its new customisable small form factor case. The Lazer3D LZ7 has a volume of just over 7 litres, making it one of the smallest chassis on the market. Besides this the LZ7 is still compatible with high-end hardware such as fast graphics card as well as powerful CPUs.
Part of the updated AGON lineupBeginning in 2018 AOC will ship AGON3 branded gaming displays that offer a response time of a mere 0.5ms. These monitors will be based on a curved 27’’ TN panel from AUO. The resolution will be 2560 x 1440 at 144 Hz refresh rate. Apart from that the display will support G-Sync or FreeSync 2, meaning there will be different models available at different price points.
More performance for Battlegrounds and F1 2017NVIDIA and AMD appear to have released a new driver at the same day and the release notes appear rather similar. Therefore also NVIDIA now supports the new games Destiny 2 Open Beta, which starts August 28th and ends on the 31st of August, PlayerUnknown’s Battgrounds and F1 2017. Apart from that there are a few more titles on the support list as well as some performance improvements.

At this point in time Intel will finally bring their first six core twelve thread processors to the mainstream market. Since chipzilla is rushing these chips to market now the motherboard vendors have to respond coming up with new lineups since these processors will require a new chipset.

144Hz and AMD FreeSync30% smaller than the R1MAINGEAR has announced a new small form factor (SFF) gaming PC that come with Intel Core i9 as well as AMD processors and should be released during the next months. Similar to the Maingear R1 Razer Edition, the Maingear R2 Razer Edition ships with green LEDs and a Razer-themed chassis. The case is 30% smaller than the R1 since there’s a mini-ITX motherboard inside, while the other features an ATX board.
240Hz, 1ms and AMD FreeSyncViewSonic already has a vast portfolio of displays and with the XG2530 the vendor is launching yet another full HD model. The 24.5-inch panel supports 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution at an astonishing refresh rate of 240 Hz, which makes this particular display relevant for playing fast first person shooters.
