Huawei has published its financial report for the first half of 2016, showing a 40 percent increase in revenue compared to the same period last year. The company is obviously growing significantly, which is do to their successful smartphone business.

HiSilicon has announced its newest flagship SoC, the Kirin 950, which will be a direct successor of the Kirin 920 SoC that was powering Huawei's earlier available Honor 6 smartphone.

We already heard that Huawei will be making the next Google Nexus smartphone and while earlier renderings were quite good, the first live photos are certainly better.

Huawei's new Watch smartwatch was certainly a star at the recent Mobile World Congress 2015 held in Barcelona and while it might be a bit more expensive than LG G Watch R and Motorola Moto 360, it is still the best looking Android Wear smartwatch around.

According to a fresh report it appears that Google will give Huawei a chance to be the next Nexus smartphone maker.
