While most of Nokia might have been sold to Microsoft, it appears that the company is still alive and has couple of ideas for future smartphones, including the device called the C1, which will be available with Windows 10 and Android.

Just a few days after Nokia’s acquisition by Microsoft, the mobile camera specialist Ari Partinen leaves his Redmond employer. At the beginning of the summer he will start to work for Apple.

In addition to the Lumia 1320 and Lumia 1520 phablets, Nokia also unveiled the new 10.1-inch Lumia 2520 tablet during its announce Nokia World conference held in Abu Dhabi earlier today. Built around a Full HD 10.1-inch screen and powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 chipset and Microsoft Windows 8.1 RT OS, Nokia's Lumia 2520 tablet will certainly put at least some pressure on recently introduced Surface 2 based on Tegra 4 platform, especially with the announce US $499 ex. During its Nokia World annual conference held at Abu Dhabi, Nokia has unveiled two new 6-inch phablet members of the Lumia lineup, the mid-range Lumia 1320 and the high-end Lumia 1520. Both based around a 6-inch screen in 720p or 1080p flavor, the new Lumia's will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 and 800 chipsets and should definitely put some pressure on other phablets on the market.

Although every company is not even trying to get on board the Windows RT train and even running as far as possible from it, Nokia apparently puts a lot of faith in it and according to a report over at Electronista, might do a pretty decent Nokia RT tablet.

Couple of German retailers/e-tailers have jumped the gun and started to offer the new Nokia Lumia 1020 on pre-order with a €799 price tag. Of course, we are talking about unlocked, SIM-free, smartphone.
